After Helen Heymann’s six month shoot I could hardly wait to photograph those big blue eyes again for her nine month session! And boy was my girl ready for me!

Besides her big smile and gorgeous eyes she was ready to show me some of her new tricks! Helen is world’s cutest Little Crawler!

Does it get any sweeter than this…

Heymann Family you guys are just the Greatest! I can’t wait to photograph Helen at our next session…Twelve Months. Amazing how quickly it goes right by us. I hope you will treasure these images of your little Helen for a lifetime! See you soon! Thank you so much!

The Magnuson Family

July 7th, 2010

Something that I always hold near and dear to my heart is the chance to donate to this awesome community we live in! It is so true when they say the more you give the more you will receive. I donated an ABP session to the UNC Lineberger Beach Ball Silent Auction and in the end I was the one who won. The Magnuson Family was kind enough to bid on a session with me and won! I not only got to photograph them and have an amazing session, but I made three and a half new friends that day too!

Meet the Magnuson Family!

Ryan MacGregor-A Four Month Portrait Session

June 16th, 2010

“Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.”
―Mother Teresa

My session with Ryan and his mom and dad reminded me of this quote. Ryan was one of my first sessions back after having Lila (yes I am finally trying to catch up with my blog and where do you start at the beginning of course!). His smile greeted me when I came into his nursery and it made me remember the joy and excitement of my work.

Meet my new friend Ryan.

Arts in Action!

March 23rd, 2010

Event: Arts in Action

Location: Frank Porter Graham Elementary Chapel Hill, NC

website: http://www.ncartsinaction.org/

March 4th was a big day for me. It was my first ABP session since my sweet Lila Byrd was born. I was excited, nervous (about leaving my little byrd), and honestly not sure how it would feel to be “back”. Well if you guys know me you know that I think God always knows exactly what he is doing and he planned for my first session back to be with my Arts in Action family. I realized I have been photographing this awesome non profit for four years now. (Thanks Lisa Kang and Lisa Van Deman!). This non profit brings happiness, dance, and the excitement of learning new things to our schools and our kids. As I said it was the perfect session back…
