Is it just me or didn’t Kevin Arnold always have the wisest things to say. I feel this way about my photos of our Little LB. She is now 7 Months…where does the time go. This time is so priceless.

This beautiful child is the baby of one of my oldest (Elementary School to be exact!) friends Elizabeth Weeks Hott! It was such a joy to be pregnant and have little girls around the same time. Elizabeth was a vision at this newborn session. I love this image of her and Mary McCullen snuggling like only a mommy and baby can.

Despite just being a few weeks old Mary McCullen didn’t want to miss a second of our photo shoot and was awake and happy the entire time! She is my super baby!

And in a blink I found myself photographing her Three Month Session!

This is so true about so many things in our hurried and busy lives. I sometimes wonder where the time is going and how it is moving so much quicker these days…That is why I feel so blessed when old friends invite me into their lives to photograph the first year of their babies. This enables me to document in time the happiness and joy they are experiencing. These memories once captured, are there for them to look back on and remember…the joys, the hardships, the love, and just how worth it having a new baby truly is. My latest love affair, Miss Stella Kate.

I have to back up for a minute and show you the beautiful Miss Stella Kate’s equally beautiful mom. I will always remember Heather’s Maternity Session because it was the very last session I did before Lila came about two weeks later!

Today is an awesome day at the Byrd house-it’s Lila Bean’s HALF Birthday! For all of your who are born in December or January you have told me and Tom how important it is to celebrate this day! So we woke up with some early morning Birthday Fun!

I swear she has that look in her eye like ok Mom and Dad where is the cake? Not yet LB, not yet!

Lila Byrd brings us so much joy and Tom and I laugh more now than we could have ever imagined! More pics to come!

My session with Ryan and his mom and dad reminded me of this quote. Ryan was one of my first sessions back after having Lila (yes I am finally trying to catch up with my blog and where do you start at the beginning of course!). His smile greeted me when I came into his nursery and it made me remember the joy and excitement of my work.
